|JOIN B-DAWG NATION....TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
My name is Jarrett Michie and I am one of the many faces of Juvenile Arthritis.
Arthritis is a chronic disease that is not fun at all. I have it in my lower back, hips, knees and balls of my feet. I have pain & stiffness in my legs and back all of the time. My life includes a monthly infusions at Childrens Amplatz hospital, giving myself shots once a week, medicine (a total of 8 pills) daily, physical therapy, ice packs, heating pads and knee immobilizers at night when I sleep.
It’s no fun at all for a 11 year old boy who just wants to be a kid like everyone else.
I continue to play basketball because its what I love to do most. I may have arthritis, but it won’t take away my spirit!
I WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
It takes a “Nation” to fight the battle, and I need your support!
Together we can help find a cure for arthritis so kids like me don’t have to live in pain anymore.
Help us to raise awareness to find a cure…..and most importantly to support the over 300,000 children in the United States that suffer from this painful chronic disease.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Please stand with B-Dawg Nation in this fight!
